These are some of the most frequent questions that we get, but if you have a question that you can't find the answer to here, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Sorry, but no. Apollo Auto is a mobile detailing service, not an every-day car wash. Furthermore, being that we come to you to detail your automobile the price of our time, petrol and effort to do so would be far greater than the price of an outside wash only. If you have several cars that need to be cleaned on the outside only, like a fleet of company cars or a few personal cars, arrangements can be made for this service. Please contact us for details.

Sorry but no we won't. Although they may provide services similar to ours, they are not the same. Simply put, you get what you pay for, which is probably why you bought the car that you have now instead of something else. We at Apollo Auto have the utmost confidence when saying, "We are the best." Our goal is to provide you with the most meticulous auto detail around and with first-class customer service. Also, coming to your home to detail your car is a convenience that no other car wash around offers, therefore our expenses to do so must also be calculated in the price of our services. top |
Automatic car washes are convenient because they're quick and you really don't even need to get out of your car to have it washed, but there's a BIG price that you pay for that "convenience" and that's an extremely scratched up paint job. Sure some of them even say "Soft Wash" on them, but it's very misleading because even if the brushes are softer than the other car washes, they're still beating on your car's paint at rotations of up to 3,500 RPMs! The average automatic car wash is equipped with bristles on it just a bit more flexible than the bristles on a household broom; it's the same material! You wouldn't wash your car with a broom would you? Lastly, an automatic car wash will NEVER clean your car correctly. We're all human and we all make mistakes, but the machine that washes your car won't go back and touch up the places you aren't 100% satisfied with... we will.

No polishing does not "damage" the paint. If a car's paint is in such a condition that the paint needs to be polished, that means that the paint is already damaged to some extent by either being scratched, becoming hazy with swirl marks or it's become oxidized. These damages are inevitable because we buy our cars to drive them, so sooner or later your paint will have to be polished to keep it looking new. The only way to avoid these damages is to keep your car in a garage... or a museum.
As for the removing of the clear coat, yes some of the clear coat must be removed in order to polish out the scratches. When a car is scratched or the paint is swirled, the clear coat must be polished down to the lowest point on the scratch to remove it. This is the same thing that happens when a woman has her nails polished. Here's an illustration of what the average car's clearcoat looks like. Don't worry, it's not as bad as it sounds and we're professionals that have many years of experience in car care! top |

Everything has a price. top |
Yes we certainly can. If there's a bad smell in your car that just won't go away or if it was owned by a smoker it means that the smell is on almost every part of your car, even the vents. To remove the smells completely the entire car will need to be shampooed and then an odor bomb will need to be used to finish the job. top |
Sorry, not at this time but this is a service that we will provide in the near future! top |
Clearcoat is put on your car for a few reasons, but mainly to protect the actual paint and to give it that glossy look. Unfortunately mother nature is very unforgiving when it comes to keeping that shiny look. Not only that but other elements like road debris, industrial fallout (pollution), brake dust, acid rain, overspray, salt and plain old dirt are detrimental to your car's finish. Wax protects your paint by sealing out these elements and preventing them from "sticking" to the paint. Not only that, but a good wax job makes your car look great and makes driving your car even more enjoyable! top |
A car should be waxed at least every three months. Basically, it should be waxed every time you have the oil changed in your car because that should be done every 3 months or 3,000 miles. The waxes we use on your finish are very high quality, but despite that they don't last forever; none of them do. top |
*Valued customer cards are available that will be marked by one of our representatives after the purchase of any wash package at full price. After the 10th wash, the card may be used to redeem the free wax job with the purchase of your next wash. |
