A nice gift from the car dealer...
I was a car salesman for many years back in America and the way that I saw new vehicles being treated adn neglected never ceased to amaze me. This one actually surprised me though. My customer picked this car up on a Friday and scheduled an appointment with me on the following Wednesday to have the car waxed before he started really using it... no, there's no wax on the car when it comes from the factory. After washing the car, I cleaned it with clay and the amount of contamination that was on it was incredible... especially for a ca that's less than 1 week old (you can see what came off of it in the pictures below)! Now, even if the car was driven every day from Friday to when I got it, there still should not have been that much contamination on it. That was pretty bad, but the thing that blew my mind the most was the pre-delivery cleaning... they took it to an AUTOMATIC CAR WASH!!! There were scratches all over the car and the signs of automatic car wash brushes are very appearant in the last picture on the tail lights. Now I don't know about you, but I'd be livid if the dealership delivered my brand new, $60,000 car to me with automatic car wash swirls all over it... People, if you plan on buying a new car, tell the dealership NOT TO PREPARE IT and give us a call. Having a professional detailer prepare your new car will cost you much less money than repairing the damage that the dealer does!
